With CES 2019 in full swing, new leaks in the smartphone industry continue to emerge. The Japanese tech giant, which introduced its first electric car concept called Sony Vision-S, is working on the Sony Xperia 5 Plus.

With a similar design to the Xperia 5, the lower and upper frames of the device are better. This means that the phone, which houses a 6.6-inch OLED display, has a thickness of 8.1 mm, and 9.3 mm when the camera overhang is included.

Sony delivered a big surprise in its CES 2020 keynote address. The first concept electric car the Japanese tech giant designed to showcase its powers: the Sony Vision-S has been introduced.

Similar to the previous model, the fingerprint reader is integrated into the power button on the right.

The camera has a SIM card slot on the left of the phone, which also includes the shutter button, while the USB-C port is located on the bottom. The Xperia 5 Didn't have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but on the Plus model, Sony seems to have stepped back on that.

The Xperia 5 Plus features an 8 megapixel camera on the front, while the rear features a quad camera setup, including a ToF sensor. Sony's new phone is expected to power the Snapdragon 865 processor.

We do not have any information on the date of the promotion. The Xperia 5 was introduced last September and the technology giant's Xperia 5 Plus model is likely to be introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2020 event next month.
